Shun’Diin Canyon Tours is a Navajo family-owned tour company in Page, Arizona. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and who else handles it. We keep it short because the site collects very little.
What we do not do
- We do not use analytics or visitor tracking on this website.
- We do not use advertising pixels or sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We do not ask you to create an account on this website.
When you contact us
If you call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, travel dates and the size of your group. We use it only to answer you and plan your tour, and we keep it for as long as we need it for that and for our normal business records.
When you book
Bookings and payments are handled by FareHarbor, our booking provider. When you click to check availability or book, FareHarbor opens its booking window and collects the details it needs, including payment information. We do not see or store your full card number. FareHarbor handles that information under its own privacy policy, which you can read inside the booking window. We receive your booking details from FareHarbor so we can run your tour.
When you use the tour assistant
Some pages have an assistant that answers questions about our tours. What you type is sent to our service providers, Cloudflare and Anthropic, so the answer can be written and sent back to you. We do not save your questions to a database or use them to build a profile of you. Our providers may keep short-term technical records for security and troubleshooting under their own terms. To keep the assistant from being misused, it briefly uses your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in a few minutes.
Please do not type payment details or other sensitive personal information into the assistant. For anything about an existing booking, call or email us instead.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. A few features load directly from other companies when you visit, which means those companies receive your IP address and basic browser information:
- The weather and conditions bar, from Open-Meteo. Your browser saves the latest forecast so it does not have to ask again on every page.
- The reviews section, from Trustindex.
- The Tripadvisor award badge, from Tripadvisor.
- The booking window, from FareHarbor, only when you click to book.
Our own site does not set cookies for visitors. The services above may use their own cookies or browser storage under their own policies.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Families booking a tour for children do so through a parent or guardian.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for a booking, a legal obligation or our records. Email or call us and we will take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
